(El Universo). Miguel Carvajal, ministro de Seguridad Interna y Externa de Ecuador, anunció que se declara estado de excepción en Ecuador ante rebelión policial.
El estado de excepción en Ecuador regirá una semana. Las clases estarán suspendidas a todo nivel hasta el lunes.
Con el decreto presidencial, las Fuerzas Armadas tratarán de despejar las vías y puentes cerrados y proteger operaciones de aeropuertos. (sigue)

We urge all Ecuadorians to come together and to work within the framework of Ecuador’s democratic institutions to reach a rapid and peaceful restoration of order.
