Pablo is born into a dysfunctional family. He has a dissolute father, and a mother who moves between whim and affections, injustice and indecision. Pablo can only count on his maternal grandmother, but her death at age of 11, leaves him alone. Pablo has no other choice but going to live with his father, an unscrupulous individual who involves Pablo in the underworld he lives in. The boy moves about from side to side, taking here and refusing there, living among characters with different shades of moral and social values. After a series of events, Pablo has to face the obligation to choose one way.
