Catholic Charities accepting donations for those affected by Hurricane Matthew

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami, Inc. has established a disaster relief fund to assist the people in the Caribbean nations affected by Hurricane Matthew.

“Catholic Charities and the Archdiocese of Miami, together with the people of South Florida, stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean in this time of suffering,” said Deacon Richard Turcotte, Catholic Charities’ Chief Executive Officer.

Monetary donations will be accepted through the Catholic Charities website www.ccadm.org. Click on the “Donate” tab then on "General Donations" and under the supporting box select “Disaster Relief – Hurricane Matthew” to designate your donation for the Caribbean nations affected by Matthew.

Please designate your donation by noting, “Disaster Relief - Hurricane Matthew” in the memo line. Donations will be designated to provide transportation, gas, food, and rebuild/repair damaged infrastructure.
