Co-founder of Vocal Point Bob Ahlander says the music video, shot at Timpview High School in Provo, features the top hits from each of the 25 years corresponding with the group’s existence, beginning with “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory from 1991.
“It was so fun to be a part of,” Ahlander said. “When we started this group, YouTube didn’t exist.”
Ahlander was in the video as well. He sings the Auto-Tuned portion of Cher’s “Believe.”
All of the singers were in charge of finding their own costumes to go with the movie director’s 1950s theme, and all of the props were built by Brigham Young University theater students. (Read full text at Fox 13 Salt Lake City's website)
