(Ascent Himalayas) Everest Summit Success!
We are overjoyed to share the exhilarating news from our Everest expedition team! This morning, at approximately 10:45am, they triumphantly reached the summit of Mount Everest!.
A historic moment was achieved by Yandy Nuñez Martínez, a resilient climber hailing from Cuba but living in Iceland. Yandy Nuñez Martínez has created history as the first Cuban to conquer the summit, accompanied by the exceptional guide Pasang Tenzing Sherpa an IFMGA guide. This summit marks Pasang Tenzing Sherpa 16th Everest triumph—an incredible feat of endurance and mountaineering prowess!.
Joining the summit party is John Warwick Dover from Australia, who reached the peak alongside with guide Danurbu Sherpa. Their determination and teamwork brought them to this extraordinary achievement.
Celebrations continue as Jason Ralph Ramsdel from the USA proudly stood atop Everest with his climbing guide Sangey Sherpa.
